using the ft-240-43 ferrite cores, we wound multiple turns of the control
wires on each core, i believe about 14 turns at each core.  had a trane
ac/gas heat unit at my previous home, a seer 13 unit, and had birdies on 14
mhz from the control board going to the outside unit, and the themostat.
the cores with multiple turns fixed the problem.  not using any snap on
units here.
