I can hear the airport beacons below the AM-BC band fine.

I was wondering about the impact of other variables; resonance of
the antenna, lightning arrestors, antenna tuner, rig ...

That aside, how's the reception of broadcast stations below that?  Does
another antenna or connector cut in at that point?

Since power line RFI is for the most part constant from "DC-Daylight", what
changes at the receiver site at 700 KHz?
