Hi guys,

Yup, solar panel RFI is here to stay, unfortunately. I think the FCC should
really look into all the RFI "noise pollution" that the optimizer/inverters
are causing from many solar panel installations.

I have two house with panels, one to the south and one to the NE of my QTH.
The one south is about 300' from the tower and the one to the NE is about a
quarter-mile away and has a nasty S6 birdie on 50.098MHz and ditto for the
house 300' away from me but has a very loud S8 birdie on 50.098MHz. Both
wash out the 6m band...totally ! The "birdie" seems to occur every 100KHz as
there is one on 49.998MHz, one on 50.198MHz, etc.

Tom/K1TL...
