Hi Steve,

RFI is almost always generated by the controllers for the variable speed motors. That must be suppressed as previously described.

Any noise associated with a wireless link (which is nearly always UHF or high VHF) would almost certainly be generated by a wall wart, OR radiated on whatever wiring connects it to the furnace.

Any opinions about how to handle a wireless thermostat? I’ve used the American
standard rfi kits on all three units. All have variable speed motors. Rfi somewhat
reduced on 20 and 18 but still raises noise floor every 8 kHz on P3 about 10-15 db.
