Hi Jim,
I should also mention that with the great inexpensive high tech tools we
now have such as the TinySA, it’s much easier to isolate the problem using
an H probe to figure out what’s really generating the RFI (or what’s
conducting it) within the system, and therefore where to first try
filtering. My first plan of attack if and when I get to sit down with this
homeowners system is to use the H probe with the TinySA to evaluate the
situation.
