I vote to add 160M to NAQP RTTY. It's probably the only way I'll ever
get an antenna up for that band. I heard several stations during NAQP CW
this past weekend that I wanted to work but they could not hear me on my
tribander (did make 4 Q's though).
In last year's XE RTTY contest, I had one XE station ask me to QSY to 160M.
We went and I copied him well but he never heard me. I've made several DX
QSO's using my tribander, including CN during a CQWW CW test a couple
years ago. It's an interesting band to me. If it were added to NAQP RTTY, I'd
be
forced to put up an antenna. That would be the motivation I need!
I think this subject makes for good discussion.
As far as the YA is concerned, I've heard nothing about him. I hope he is
OK.
