Hi all,
Interesting! Well, we had excellent weather here on the Saturday, and it got
too hot to stay in the shack for long, and the beach was very inviting!
Couldn't decide whether to stay up late, or get up early, but in the end, I
did neither. I just couldn't get up this morning, so I didn't get into the
shack until about 7am local time.
Highlights:
Well, there were a few things........
Working 40m in the evening here, and getting many EU stations, when I see
VK4UC in the pile!
Calling - and being heard by - KH6ND, with a badly tuned antenna on 15m, so
that I was putting out rather less than expected. Despite that, I was heard
first call!
Also nice was getting OA4AHW and OA4DJW on 20m. My first ever OA last
weekend, and now I find two on 20m.
Lowlights:
Just a few.......... Too many stations calling WAY off frequency! One
station who gave me 599-003-003 which made me wonder just who accepted 001
and 002??
What else...........
Earliest year for me was 1928 from RW9C. W3KV was 1934, and NA2M in 1941.
So, here is my effort:
