I've always had good luck with SIIG "Cyber Serial" and "PCI Expander" 
add-on serial port cards. You can get them in a 2 or 4 port version and 
they have drivers for Win 98, 2K and XP. I have the 4-port card in my 
machine at home, and most of the PCs at PJ2T have the 2-port card.
