Hi all,

Wow! Conditions from here were surprisingly good, considering the state of
the solar cycle, with nice runs to W6/W7 on both days, although slightly
better on Sunday.
When I started, it was with an open mind on how much I would be able to
manage, so I spent a large part of Saturday on S&P, and generally having
some fun.
I logged IY4W and then 9Y4W, which amused me, found 9J2KC with a real S9+ on
10m, and even worked KH6YY on 15m after sunset here. In fact, 15m was open
till about 1900UTC, and produced several W6's for me.
I had to call it a day around 2130 though, as the arm was getting very
painful. In fact, I probably overdid it as I spent most of Saturday night
half awake, and not very comfortable.
Got back to the shack just before 0900 on Sunday morning and decided to
spend a bit more time CQ'ing.
Had some great runs on 20m, but the best was on 15m in the afternoon! My
rate went up to just over 90/h, most of which seemed to be W6/W7's.
Especially pleasing for me was to get called by WG0I/QRP, who was a good
signal here! Mark N7MQ was about S9+5dB, great stuff! Most amusing for me
was the guy I called who asked me to confirm my call, which I did, and then
asked again if I was a "real genuine GU"!!
The bands were being well used, with RTTY sigs up to 14120 and 21145 -
amazing!

I did get a little annoyed a couple of times with a few EU stations who
didn't seem to listen, and consequently lost a few QSO's and mults. I sent
HA0HH a report, and got called by another station, not once, but FOUR times,
who seemed to think my report was for him!
I must also apologise to WA3AAN who I called, and then failed to complete
with. He was loud here, but some lid decided to diddle, dit, and generally
ruin any attempt to complete the QSO.

The pleasing bit was that I beat last years' score by quite a bit, despite
only 9 more Q's.

No sign of 6O0CW at all, which was a pity, but who knows what problems they
may have had!

Anyway, here is what I managed...............
                  QSO Pts Pfx
80 25 100 22
40 62 260 46
20 190 413 137
15 188 496 147
10 15 42 14
---------------------------------------------
Totals 480 1311 366
Claimed score: 479826

Op time - about 20 hours including a few "comfort breaks".

Station:
IC756Pro 70 watts.
MQ1 mini-beam, plus inverted L for 40/80.
Writelog 10.51M

My log will be uploaded on to LoTW soon!

Many thanks to all for the fun and enjoyment!
