Comments:
This contest went better for me than expected. My goal were 500 QSOs and
50.000
points. Last year I reached abt 27.000 points with almost 400 QSOs, 53 DXCC
and
15 states/provinces. And I learned that is important to work more
states/provinces. A nice surprise was the 15 m band with a good opening to
W/VE
on sunday. But I missed stations from Asia and Oceania. Only YB5BO, VK7HD,
JA7IC
and UN7EG found the way in my log on 20 m or 15 m and ZC4LI was reliable as
everey time :-)) . This seems very poor to me. I think that was the first
contest where I heard ZL2AMI but couldn't QSO him. Once he was S&Ping, the
other
time another stn QRMed by calling me after I called Bob. I heard a lot of
stations from W6-0 on 40 m band around 01:00 Z without any EU-QRM. But there
was
no chance to come through for my 100 watts.
I must say that I like the rules: mults only once and not per band and 1
point
per every QSO don't stress too much.
As Phil already wrote I realize from contest to contest a growing number of
stations which are calling in a wrong moment. E. g. they call me after I
called
a CQ-ing station. But my call string ends with KN. So there is no
possibility
for a missunderstanding.
