[RTTY] RTTY on a Drake TR4

Anyone ever operate RTTY on a Drake TR4?  I'm contemplating trying it
but wondering if my efforts will be futile considering the passband of
the crystal filter is centered at 2 kHz.  I guess an outboard DSP
filter could help overcome this.
