I'm beginning to think some of this behaivor is generated from the
NOW.....or NEXT....type of operating you see more of now....we use it, but
only when we get more than one call from a CQ or TU, not by someone calling
on top of someone....some stations may not understand the "norm" for how
that works...then again, I may be all wrong, and RTTY may be turning into a
freefall, like SSB (hope not!!!).....we may have lost a doulbe mult because
of it, the station never sent a TU and never worked another station after
us, so I hope he logged us...packet generated Sunday afternoon pileups are
getting as bad on RTTY as they are on SSB !!!!!!

I saw some pretty unruly pileups to the likes I had not seen in many

I dropped my call once in the clear but he had already went QRT by then.
The pileup on GU0SUP was also quite rude. Stations weren't
letting Phil complete the contacts. I sent my call one time in the clear
and made the contact. Others just kept calling.

Subject: [RTTY] Rude contesters
Three times this weekend, I had guys calling on top of the DX when I was
trying to hear if he confirmed my report.
PLEASE PLEASE let the QSO in progress F I N I S H before dumping your call
in.
I used to think RTTY operators were polite. Now they're just like the
rest of the a-holes out there.
