Hi all,
Just a quick update on the saga of my missing SC contact....
It actually showed up in LoTW sometime on Friday afternoon, but as I was
busy with our club AGM on Friday evening, then having a ball in the WAE RTTY
contest, I haven't had a chance to update till now.
A big thanks to Gary AL9A, who pointed me in the right direction in the
first place. Without knowing who to contact, I would have been at a loss.
Thankfully Don W4OC, replied to my query very quickly, and submitted the log
to the ARRL immediately. He, and I, expected to have to wait a few days for
it to be "processed", but it showed up very quickly!
While I am here, a big thankyou to Jeff AC0C, assuming it was he at the keys
of W1AW/0 yesterday (Sunday 9th) on 17m RTTY for giving me KS on RTTY.
I had stopped playing in WAE for Sunday tea, did the washing up, and then
went back to the shack just to see what else was around. I bagged W1AW/7 on
20m (2nd slot), who was also giving out serial numbers, and then I saw a
spot for W1AW/0 on 17m, so I spent the next 40 odd minutes chasing that one,
and was lucky enough to get in.
