To interface the KAM to your Paragon
you will need RCA phono plugs for the following connections on the rear
panel:
1. Audio out
2. Audio in
3. PTT
The RS-232 interface isn't used between the KAM and your rig. Instead, it
goes between the KAM and the I/O port on your computer. TenTec made
interfacing with your TNC easy with those phono jacks. BTW, I recommend
phono plugs with the split outter ring and not the solid ones. They seem to
grip better for obvious reasons. I don't know why Radio Shack has switched
over to the solid type.
