Are you strictly CW? Are you an exacting and demanding CW operator?
If the answer to these two questions is NO, then don't let that bother you.
How ever I ride a Harley Davidson, the finest Motorcycle made, yet I know that
not every one would be happy riding a Harley. (I usually say something like
"nothing is for everybody, I even know men that do not like girls" or something
to that effect, but I am not sure if it is appropriate here so I won't say it
OK). My experience has been great with the OMNI IV updated to the + version at
the factory. I get very good signal reports from almost every one. I would
say that if you have pride in your country, and want a fine radio made in your
country then get a TEN-TEC, and enjoy it. If you have to have something
different than others, I don't know what to tell you. Good luck with what ever
