Well I'm amazed! All this talk about fans and heat sinks for the
Omins came to light just as I was completing my mobile installation of
my Scout. I had a small 12v fan that I mounted directly behind the
heatsink and then I plugged it into the AUX supply port on the back of
the Scout!
That's when I went into shock! The manual indicates that this outlet
is to be limited to 2 amps. BUT it is neither fused nor switched! So
you plug in the fan and it begins to whirr drawing off the camper
battery.
I know, it's only milliamps but come on TT would switching and fusing
this supply have been all that difficult??

PS: As for the Scout - Well as expected it was flawless and what a
great receiver!!
