I use an APC Surge Arrest Professional to feed my equipment. It comes
with a $10,000 Lightning / surge dammage warrenty. No, it is not cheep.
Seems that it was a little less than $100. I have been fortunate in that
I have had no lightning hit. I DO disconnect my antennas at the tower
base, and pull the co-ax back to the house when not in use.
