Yes, I've had both models of 705 mike. The earlier ones required
the 9 volt battery and had the battery holder built in to the base.
The one I got later for my OMNI VI took its power from the mike
connector. You had to modify the Corsair I (and maybe the II)
in order to get power from the mike connector. The 705 has been
the flagship desk mike for Ten Tec for some long time.
