Being interested in amplifiers some of the terminology used at the first
and last '11m amplifier' shoot-out that I visited in Detroit a while
back has still not rubbed off:-)
Pill = transistor.
I wanted to see with my own eye's how the worlds undisputed amp king was
able to pin a 100Kw broadcast Bird watt meter needle on the end stop.
I later found out that a pair of 4CX20K's in a GM Suburban can do this
but IMO it's made up primarily of harmonics!
