About six months ago, someone on the list commented that the roofing filter
in the Omni VI+ was a compromise - it was made wide enough for FM mode, and
that the Omni's blocking dynamic range suffered a bit as a consequence.
There was also talk of developing a mod to slip in a narrower filter in its
place. Wondering if there was any follow-through on this? I sure wouldn't
mind losing FM capability . . .
