I think microphones definately vary with a person's voice.
I have a strong voice and have for years preferred the Shure 444 mic or mic
cartridge in another casing. But I have friends with weaker voices that
sound better with other mics and sometimes with some mic amplification
(prudently adjusted).
but Gimme my FoFoFo and I'm happy.
