[TenTec] Triton IV Mic Problem

I am running a Model 544 with the 262M power supply.The mic circuit in
the p/s is intermittent.VOX or PTT yeilds same results.Sometimes it
works,sometimes it don't.Works fine if I plug the mic in the back of the
radio.Any comments on a solution to this problem would be greatly
