In looking at the keying waveform from the QST review of the Omni
VI+(http://www.arrl.org/members-only/prodrev/pdf/pr9711.pdf), I would come
to a different conclusion. The shape and speed of the falling slope seems
good, but the rising slope looks too fast and is somewhat hard-edged. IMHO,
this is not a textbook perfect keying waveform and may very well generate
clicks as others have previously mentioned.
