Hummm... that's really odd. The updated History file and firmware 1.02 seem to 
have disappeared as soon as I posted the info. Sorry for the email noise. I 
thought it was for real.  Pse don't shoot the messenger.

What I remember from reading the 1.02 History file was:
Improved CW waveform on different PWR settings
Improved memory retention on reset
three other entries that seemed interesting and important :-)
