[TenTec] strange QRM/QRN/RFI source?

I haven't followed this topic too closely but read the original post.  As I 
recall, the individual was experiencing noise that they didn't have before.  
Something that comes to mind is these photocell devices that turn lights, "on 
at dusk, off at dawn", like night-lights, etc..  I've found these to be 
horrendous noise generators!  And it doesn't seem to matter if the device is on 
or off.
