We've noticed the same problem,
I'd look to a firmware update, I think its in the queue.

When you press the A>B or B>A button does the bandwidth get transferred
from one VFO to the other, or on your Orion do just the MODE and FREQUENCY
transfer. I used to think the MODE, FREQUENCY, and BANDWIDTH all got
transferred on my Orion but now just the MODE and FREQUENCY get
transferred.
Comments would be appreciated. Thanks! Toby W4CAK ( P.S. I know there
is a BW track option in the menu)
