The 746 PRO transmit problem has ben fixed some time ago by Icom. Also, I had one and it was a really nice radio. Why not get a 746PRO from someone that has a good return policy and a Jupiter from TT. Try them out, return the one you like the least. I bet it will be the Icom, but, it's apersonal taste decision.
