Hello Thom. Just a respectful suggestion: Buy one and then sell it when you're finished. Or better yet, keep it and USE it!!! It's a great radio and you are a ham. If the time came to sell it, you'd certainly take almost no loss as they hold their value very well. I'm sorry, but your request almost sounds like a scam. I'm sure it's not, but think how it sounds.... If you've been around the internet, swap newsgroups, ebay and such, you'll have to agree.
