I have this problem with the original TEN TEC Power Supply and also with a
DAIWA 30A.
My 4 el KLM (10-15-20) - 7Mhz loop - 3,5 Mhz dipole and DL-1000 (dummy
load) as "ANT 1" gave same problem.
All test were made with 50W barefoot.
No receiving antenna is connected. I have activated the QSK loop .. but I
think it is not related to this problem.
??
I think it could be an hardware problem.

Are you sure you do not have a problem with your power supply?
Suppose you already checked the proper installation of your coax connector?
Do you have a receiving antenna connected to the special connector?
Never experienced a problem like yours with my Orion.
Just tried to duplicate your problem on my DL-1000, no problem.
