I really appreciate the quick and informative
responses!  I did find the rig does have the noise
blanker and a 200 Hz CW filter.
Regarding the band switch knob, I took it off and
replaced it with a good knob, but the slop still
exists.  It must be in one of the rotary switches the
band selector operates.  Might just have to live with
it.
