I just ran my MFJ-259 through an external
Preamp to get an S9+60 test signal. Even with
Threshold at 1 uV, Internal Preamp On, RFGAIN 100
any NB setting and any roofing filter, I cannot
induce distortion. I've heard it before so I know
it happens under some conditions, but whatever they
are I cannot seem to duplicate them at the moment.
