Most people that have an Orion like it, a few don't.  A lot of people like
other radios, a few don't.  Everyone has their own killer reason one way or
the other for whatever radio sits on the desktop.

For most owners, the Orion works well.  From a small number of former
owners, you get what you might expect in the way of comments.

There's no reason not to own one, and a lot of reasons TO own one.
