Its similar to the OMNI VI in that it is a very, very fine CW rig and it is still a good SSB rig (but not "optimized" for the SSB operator). The specs on the K2 are really amazing for the price and single conversion design (a la OMNI-C and its cousins along the Ten Tec line!)
