Ron, There do seem to be some processor overload issues, but I haven't noticed any tendency toward jumpy tuning. It seems smooth to me. I don't have the radios you mentioned, nor did I have an original Orion, so I can't compare it with them. The other radios I have here are an FT-102/FV-102DM, KWM-2, S-line, and Argonaut V. The tuning on my O2 compares well with those.
