Dave,

There is one crystal filter unit in the 540/544.. It is 2.4 Khz in the 9 Mhz IF 
used for RX and in the SSB generator for TX.. It is built on a proprietory 
board that matches the modular configuration of these radios.. Not like the 
filters used by TT today.. The audio CW filters are active op-amp filters.. Not 
really changeable..
