Icom does not offer optional roofing filters on the Pro-III so you're limited to the stock 15-20 kHz roofing filter. Fifteen years ago, a fully loaded Omni VI (no auto-tuner available) came in at the same price as the Omni VII without its auto-tuner. Seems quite reasonable to me when you look at the spectrum of available product on the market.
