I'm not real sure it is a crystal element. I have seen those mics with
ceramic and electret elements though as I recall.
Does it work OK? Does it have a stereo type 1/4 inch plug or 4 conductor
mic plug? If it has a 1/4 inch plug it is likely ceramic (if my memory is
correct). 4 conductor mic plug suggests electret but could be ceramic or
crystal.
