Ken,

There is a known issue with the software in version 2.xx. You must have
your sub-receiver set to AM. If you want to listen to AM on the
sub-receiver, use either USB or LSB. When the sub-receiver is set to AM,
once you hit the transmit button, the headphone level will drop to almost
nothing. Do a reset and you will get it back.

John

I've got one of the original orions and I've flashed it up to 2.059d. did a
battery and master reset, etc... I'm having a problem when I'm using
headphones. it'll work great for awhile, but then at some point after I've
transmitted (cw, ssb, makes no difference) the headphone audio will not come
back. sounds like it stays muted. sometimes I can cure it with a power
cycle, but most times I have to do a master reset. the speaker audio is not
affected.

I don't have rf issues in my shack and I don't recall this behavior with the
version 1.x code, though I have not flashed back to v1.x to try and
duplicate the problem there.

anyone seen this or have any ideas?

thanks & 73
