it seems the mic the guy i purchased this delta from doesn't work - its an
electro voice mic and i get no movement of my swr/power meter when i blow or
whistle into it. i can tune up with CW and the carrier is getiing sent fine
- when i switch to ssb mode its dead - its either the radio or the mic - is
it possible the mic is wired wrong? can i wire a yaesu hand mic to work
with this radio or are they externally powered by the radio - just need
something cheap just to eliminate the radio. sorry for all the questions -
very grateful this forum exists - or else i would not know where to turn.
