Well last night I losened two of the four screwes and re tightened them on the
suspect board, and that did not work. I could not get at the remaining two
with out a lot of dissassembly. Seeing how this is my only HF rig and with not
a lot of time I did not want to dig further into the preblem.
I did tap around a bit and found another area where the problem comes and goes.
I completely removed that baord, reseated it and the problem persists.
So as of now I still have an intermitant transmit problem. I also noticed last
night that it sometimes "partially" transmits. For example, I was tuning up on
20 meters, and with known good setting on the tuner, I was not getting full
output power. A tap in the right spot and bingo full power. Any more thoughts
on what the problem could be?
