My cigg lighter in my car broke, and was too costly to repair (Volvo).
I used one of those portable car jump start things. They have two cigg
lighter outlets, a large gel cel in it, and charge up with a wall wart
gadget.
Gets to be a pain in the butt real quick...but powers a rig for a long time
without wiring into the car.
Got mine at WalMart.
