Absolutely! We wouldn't want our GI's to buy import radios.  Ten Tec 
wants to be patriotic and give the military priority, plus they have to 
pay the bills, and its no doubt a lucrative contract.  We should be 
honored that the military chose our favorite radio company over the big 
dogs like Rockwell-Collins and Harris.
Cut Ten-Tec some slack.
(Guess I'm spoiled.  I have a Paragon, Corsair, and Scout, none of which 
need software updates, though I'm toying with the idea of a Giehl chip).
