Mike, There is a problem that happens on some older Heath HW 7 or 8 rigs, and that is the change in the inductor cores. If the Ten Tec Argosy II has such cores, maybe the same happened on the problem band? I think you have seen the write ups from Mike C., in "QRP Quarterly" on the inductor problem over the years.
