I like the OMNI VII better for my use. Seems others have mentioned the VI+
has receive audio going through DSP full time.
I sold the VI+ before buying the VII, so can't do a side by side
comparison. For contest or serious dxing there may be some arguments that
favor the VI+. For all the other features like AM, variable BW, general
coverage, etc the VII has it.
I miss the clock!!
