I believe this a harmonic from the PTO? The PTO in Ten-Tec rigs generates a
frequency between 5.0 and 5.5 MHz (see 3-14 in the manual). Four times that
would be a tone close to 21.320 MHz. As I remember it is very strong and very
sharp.
I found with the Omni V a similar birdie was impossible to remove. If you want
a quiet rig with crystal mixing this is the price you pay.

I have a Argosy II and have a few questions and would appreciate any
insight:
1. I have a strong signal on 21.320 Mhz...is this normal? I know that it
is generated internally. I don't see it mentioned in the manuals specs
2. I am pretty sure I need to rebuild the PTO...is it a big deal to do?
I am handy equipment.
3. How about alignment of the PTO?
