Not so, Dick Tracy.
Unfortunately, and I am loathe to knock any team I am on, my TT Model
963 switching power supply (purchased with my Omni VII) puts out hash on
frequencies other than ham bands. Not awful, but enough to notice as I
use it to run my scanners and SWL general coverage receivers, including
a TenTec RX-320D. TenTec says it only tests for noise in the ham
bands, so I am stuck with it. Again it is not a show-stopper, but those
ARRL tests would not have helped me any.
Thus, I am not totally happy with my TenTec switching supply other than
it does not bend the desk top. I built a stand for the two heavy
linear supplies under the desk where I cannot kick them, and and they no
longer warp the desk top. I am sold on linear supplies, despite the
added weight and cost.
Just MY take...

Jim, that's why the league tests switcher power supplies for trash.
All you have to do is read the reviews and buy a good one.
You always get trash when you buy cheap, no matter what it is!
