That's very similar to what my Omni 7 was doing on 12 and 10
meters..intermittent relay failure.
Finally the relay failed and the rig got sent to TT for repair.

Right.
Check your whole setup. Check the antenna; the connections (are they free
from shorts and have good continuity, and are they all snugged up; check
your microphone and other connectors; check the SWR on the antenna system;
and all accessories in line. Something is wrong, and this is the last
clue you get before the Omni VII shuts down.
