Personally I made my own break-out box. I found some chassis mount DIN
connectors at Radio Shack as well as a nice group of RCA female chassis
connectors. With a bit of wiring and a Radio Shack project box, I can now
connect up to 4 different DIN devices and a host of other stuff to the RCA 7
connectors.
Foot switch, external key, audio monitor speakers, test box for measuring
and injecting signals and a host of other stuff. With this much flexibility
one has to be careful and not try to do three or 4 things at once or the
signals and logic gets very confused. Otherwise, it is something I use
daily at my station and my service bench.
This box works with the Orion series, Omni VII, Eagle and Argonaut VI
radios.

Subject: [TenTec] 8 pin Din Plug Splitter
I discovered that if I want to use the Ten Tec USB digital interface with
the the Eagle, I will not
be able to connect an amp key line.
Can anyone recommend a place that would carry a 8 pin din Y cable
Thank you
Brian, KG8CO
