I apologize. I thought my reply to Pete was off the list.....
That's what I get for not looking at the reply to address.
I found a supply of 1,000 6.300MHz crystals cheap.
Less than the price for two TenTec filters on the open
market. I have not ordered yet as I need to parameterize
the crystals in one of the filters in my Corsair II to make
sure I know what I'm doing. :-)
The Paragon does not have the PLL problem and I'm pretty
sure it is due to using a power supply that will hold a 13V
level without dropping at high loads. Of course, being a
QRPer helps. :-)
Again, sorry for the bandwidth to the list. I'm sure you're
not interested in what I'm doing.
