[TenTec] digital modes

Hello folks,
I have in hand the TT Model 712 Adapter Cable. I thought that I might try some 
of the digital modes.
What seems to be the Software of choice for using this cable with the Orion2. 
My computer runs Win 7 with plenty of Ram and HD.
What else would I need to get started?
